Well, last night we had phase one of decorating the Christmas tree. Cate is an old pro now. Kian thinks it is a tree of toys that he can pluck off to play with. It doesn't help that my Mom got him Lightning, Mater and Thomas the train ornaments. They do look like toys! How do you explain "Hallmark" ornaments to a 20 month old? My goal is to keep the tree upright, at the very least.
We visited the Oakland Temple Saturday night and watched a nice program before they turned on all the Christmas lights. Is it just me or is the Temple going 'green' with LED lights this year? Bravo.
If anyone is curious about any of our Christmas lists...don't hesitate to ask! I was pretty thorough this year. I insist that Santa can bring me a lemon bush, but Cate says he can't. We'll see who's right. Other than that, lots of kitchen gadgets as usual.
