Cate turns 5!

Cate had an Island Princess party yesterday. She had a few girls over from church and preschool. Thank goodness that is done! I don't like throwing birthday parties and entertaining kids. First they planted a flower in a little pink bucket and then they ate fruit wands and made their own star-shaped sandwiches. We did mini-cupcakes instead of a big cake. The girls all came dressed as princesses. Finally, Cate let us do a girly party. So far she has had Winnie the Pooh, Home on the Range, Lion King, and a trip to Disneyland. We'll give her our gifts tonight and she gets to celebrate her birthday at school next week (a lot of birthdays in February!).
