Feel the Magic

This was Annie's first trip to Disneyland. We went just a week after school started (yes we took Cate out of school--but you have to do Disneyland while school is in or it's just too darn crowded!), and had a great time. The park was not busy at all, we walked on to most rides. Unfortunately, we quickly realized that we will have to wait a while until we can really have fun as a family at Disneyland. Cate is ready to go do everything, Kian is too grumpy or nervous to go on most rides, Millie is too small for a lot of rides, and well, Annie is a baby. So we will most likely wait another year before we try it again. It's gonna be a long year!
We did get to see the new World of Color show. It was neat, but not worth the hassle with four little kids. Splash Mountain broke down while Cate and I were on it (I was happy about it because I didn't particularly feel like gettting wet) so we got to walk off the ride and behind the scenes and ended up outside of Disneyland where we were promptly given a magical fastpass to use at any other attraction in the park for our whole party! Score! Except for poor Cate who never did get to go on Splash Mountain. She did however get to go on Space Mountain and Indiana Jones for her first time.
We absolutely loved our hotel. It was just across the street from Disneyland, about a six minute walk from our door to the park entrance. We had plenty of space--even a little kitchen. Cate enjoyed the pool every day while the little ones napped. We had a great breakfast every morning and a light dinner as well. They almost always had fresh cookies and cold water bottles in the lobby for us to grab on our way in or out. The weather was fantastic too.
See you in one year, Mickey.

How do you never look us up for a visit when you are down here. We are going at the end of the month. It will be Issy's first time, you know Ryan's whole not until they are five rule. I can hardly wait she is going to be so much fun. Sounds like you had fun.
