We were so glad that Grandma Goldsberry was able to come and visit for Millie's blessing and also Chad's baptism. We all enjoyed seeing her and visiting. We miss you!
This is how we kept cool on Friday when it was over 100 degrees. We spent the day at my parents out on the lawn by the kiddie pool. Millie just snoozed in the house. The kids were crazy in the pool. Cate was giving full body "pedicures"--or pouring water on you and using a leaf to apply water to your face neck and arms. She also gave a nice leg massage. I wouldn't let her pour water all over me, that's what grandparents are for evidently.Anyway, looks like the bad heat is over for a bit.
