When we plan a trip we can rest assured that an ear infection will surface somewhere in the family (refer to two Disneyland trips and one Nauvoo trip with Cate!).
For our Tahoe trip it was Kian. The poor little guy got sick Wednesday and seemed worse Thursday so I took him to the doctor and, sure enough, he had an ear infection. We were nervous about driving into the mountains after only one day of antibiotics but Kian was a champ!
It was Cate that moaned and cried most the time-very sensitive ears! But we made it and we all had a great time.
Cate and Ryan going for a low-boat ride
Rick and Grandma
Tawni and Amy-so glad Tawni was able to come
Kristi and Kelli with extensions, sorry Ryan! (note to self: don't take pictures with pretty sixteen-year olds)
Sweet, little, tuckered out boy in makeshift bed
Ryan doing improv with Kelli's future extensions
Cate and Kian getting along...cherish it
Ryan loves Scattergories...almost as much as he loves America's Funniest Home Videos. One night we split into six 2-person teams to play the game and things got ugly. There was an incident involving a game folder being thrown like a ninja star into Ryan's face. I don't want to name names but here's a bit of advice: When playing games with Ryan's family, don't challenge your Mom's 'rules'.At the end of the game Grandma stood up and said "I feel like I've been through a war!" We all thought that was an accurate summary.

You guys look like you had so much fun. You guys do all kinds of fun trips, can I adopt your family. Have you guys looked for jobs in Boise yet?
