We celebrated my Nana's 95th birthday over Memorial Day weekend. It was a fun trip and a really nice party. Nana loved her gift of a photo frame with tons of pictures from her life and all her relatives. She wanted to tell us about all the photos and they were moving so fast. The cards given to her by some of her elderly friends were hilarious! She even received a Rosary from the Vatican.
Nana was born in 1914 in North Dakota and spoke German until age seven and Nana has never driven a car. She still lives on her own in McKinleyville, CA. She has 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. We all love you, Nana!
